SP#5: Unit J Concept 6-Partial decomposing with repeated fractions

Separate each factor into a a separate fraction. For the repeated factor, you must count up the powers and include the factor as many times as the exponent. Factors will be repeated.

You must take in count that you have to foil the factors before you distribute the letters.

SP#4: Unit J Concept 5- Partial decomposition with distinct factors

In part one you will need to compose the three equations

Part 2 you will need to decompose the answer you got for the first part. A, B , and C should be part of the system. Separate the equation into a,b and c. Get the common denominator. Remember to foil before you distribute the letters. Combine like terms and set them equal to the corresponding term

For the third part you will need to put in in matrix form, don't worry you wont need to solve the matrix. Plug it in into your calculator and use the reff button. You should get the numbers you started with.

Plug in what you got on the solved matrix back to the three equations you started with. You should have the same equations.

SV# 5: Unit J Concept 3-4 - Matrices

This video will deal how to work with matrices. You will need to find the three variables or numbers that make x,y and z. You will also be taught how to use rref in your calculator as a way to  check if your solution is correct.

Look out for small mistakes that you might make, like not distributing the negative. Make sure to do in pencil in case you make a mistake.
